W środku Europy. Konzentrationslager Majdanek

An album about Konzentrationslager Lublin presenting a photographic project entitled "In the middle of Europe. Konzentrationslager Majdanek." The project was realized by the State Museum at Majdanek in cooperation with the City Museumin Münster. The author of the photos presented in the album is Tomasz Samek, who comes from Poland and lives in Münster. His superb photos are a form of narrative about the camp and at the same time they try to show historical vestiges and the influence of time on the relics. The iconographic material is supplemented by essays dedicated to the camp’s history and the Museum’s activity.
